Mole Valley Squash and Pumpkin Show 2026
October 31 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Back for its 17th year, Mole Valley Squash and Pumpkin show will take place on Saturday 31st October at the Christian Centre in Dorking (opposite St Martin's Church). Doors open to the public at 1pm and remain open until 4.30pm when exhibits are removed.
The show features pumpkins, squashes and gourds of all shapes and sizes, all grown locally in allotments and gardens (though very large exhibits from further afield have arrived on occasion). A professional judge from the NVS (National Vegetable Society) attends to judge the exhibits which are arranged in singles, pairs and trios across a range of varieties. There are also culinary classes available for those who like to cook with squashes.
Exhibiting at the show / winning prizes
We welcome all exhibitors who can bring their produce down for staging at the show on the previous Friday evening (30th Oct) or on the morning of the show (31st Oct). There is a small car park outside the Christian Centre which is suitable for dropping off exhibits. All categories are FREE to enter (by both members and non-members).
You can download the show schedule here to see which classes are best suited to your pumpkin, squash and gourd crop.
The winner of each class will be awarded a £5 DAHA credit to be used for membership of DAHA OR against purchases from the DAHA shop (we sell manure, compost, seed potatoes etc).
The carved Halloween pumpkin class (in the arts alive section) is open to ALL ages and the winner will receive a £20 Amazon gift card.
