Growing Unusual Edibles - unusual plants to eat

Matt Oliver returns to DAHA to give us another talk, this time on the subject of 'Growing Unusual Edibles'. Based upon seven years of professional horticulture in a garden designed to showcase obscure vegetables from around the world, this talk takes you through a tale of growing sixteen different crops you may not have even heard of before, let alone eaten.

When we last saw Matt (for his previous talk on giant pumpkins) he was working hard at RHS Hyde Hall, he is now however the Head Gardener at Ulting Wick - an 11-acre garden, situated at Ulting near Maldon in Essex.

This talk is free to attend for members. DAHA membership costs only £5 per year and includes free access to our talks (2-3 a year), heavily discounted compost and sundries and the odd pre-arrange day trip to an RHS garden.

Allotment holders and gardeners are most welcome to join us.
